Repairs to Pinnacles at Our Lady and St Peter in Bridlington
The repair work to the Church Pinnacles, delayed from 2024, will now begin on Monday 24th February.
The first job will be to build scaffold for access to the Pinnacles which will commence on 24th at 8.00am. Scaffolding is expected to take 2/3 days followed by cleaning and then detailed inspections.
Until the inspections are completed, I cannot give you the duration of the works.
During the works, access to the church will be as usual, with all doors as normal, although when we use the middle door (Weddings & Funerals), it may be necessary to briefly stop the work.
The parking area in front of the Hall will be used by the contractor for storage of materials, plant and equipment.
I know I can rely on your patience and acceptance of any minor inconvenience during these essential repair works.
